Ahed’s Knee

The multi-award winning Israeli filmmaker, Nadav Lapid (The Kindergarden Teacher, Synonyms) makes unforgettable uncomfortable films. His most recent imagines a Tel Aviv filmmaker, angry with himself and his country, invited to show his work in Sapir, a remote desert town in the south. He goes but finds himself fighting several battles disturbing just about everyone. Screened at the Cannes and New York Film Festival.
