When Nazi concentration camps were liberated, gay prisoners like Hans, played by Franz Rogowski (Transit), were transferred to German prisons. There’s an irony in the title of Austrian director Sebastian Miese’s lauded film about the relationships established during one gay man’s recurring jail time before Germany decriminalized homosexuality in 1994.
