In Her Hands

This documentary tells the extraordinary story of Zarifa Ghafari who, at 26, became one of the few female mayors in Afghanistan before the Taliban took over. Ghafari had the fortune, or misfortune, to govern during the rapid American withdrawal, and braved increasing danger as it approached.
