Sew the Winter to My Skin

Strikingly visual and fluid, Sew the Winter to My Skin, is a rousing ballad set in the pre-apartheid South Africa of the 1940’s. It chronicles the attempt to capture John Kepe, a legendary black Robin Hood who stole from rich white racists and gave to the poor. If you’re confused by the lack of dialogue, stick with it. It pays off. Played the Toronto Film Festival.
