With just two films, Policeman and The Kindergarden Teacher, Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid signaled that he was a filmmaker to watch. The film tells the story of Yoav who, having done his obligatory military duty, has had enough and leaves Israel for Paris and a new life. But on his first day there he awakens to find himself stripped naked and his belongings gone. That’s when the crazy adventures begin. Also played the New York and Toronto festivals.
